Saturday night was so fun. Lauren, Megan, Amanda and I met up with our friends Chames and Gunice. They are such fun and nice guys. We went to McD’s first, ew so that Chames and Gunice could get some food. I love hanging out with them and just chatting in Spanish it was a good time.

We then headed out to a cute little bar where we caught the end of the big Real Madrid-Barcelona match. It was so exciting cause Real Madrid was winning when it went into stoppage time and then with like a minute left Barcelona scored to tie the game. It was incredibly exciting. the rest of the time we just sat around and chatted and had coffee/tea etc. It was so fun. We had to get Amanda back early because she is ill, so we all walked her back to her apartment. Then we headed down to Calle Betis for some more evening fun. As we were walking down we ran into a group of very drunk italians. They started asking us where they could go to dance and such and then they were talking about how the place they went on Betis played American music and at this moment Megan and I looked at each other and we knew what was coming. Yup, the classic I hate Americans comment. Chames so kindly decides to point out that we are Americans which led into several apologies and explanations yadda yadda everything was ok. We all decided to head back to Calle Betis and go to a discoteca together. As we were walking I told him how I was italian and I tried to pronounce Nardozzi as best as I could in italian and they all got really excited. It was funny. It was also awesome because I could converse with them in italian. We would both speak really slow me in spanish and they in italian. It was neat. We ended up at the discoteca we always go to and spent a very enjoyable evening dancing and taking many many silly photos. Oh spanish friends
